The Edge Band is one of the most renowned rock bands in Nepal, founded in 1998 in Pokhara and officially entering the Nepali music industry in 2000. The band was started by founder and frontman Jeewan Gurung, along with Binaya Gurung, Roshan Gurung, Sunil Gubaju, Bikash Singh, and Asok Sundas. They have given countless hits such as "Mero Ashu," "Thaha Chaina," "Nachaheko Hoina Timilai," "Samjhine Mutu," "Yo Dil Mero," and many more that helped take the Nepali music industry to another level. After original members left, frontman Jeewan Gurung rebuilt the band with new members Rockey Tulachan, Som Gurung, Sanjeev Shrestha, and Basanta Sharma. They released their second album Vibes in 2006 featuring songs including "Thaha Chaina," "Kasailai Pani Ma," "Jiunalai Garo Bho," and "Dukha Diyera." The band's popularity took them to perform among Nepalese communities in the UK, USA, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, and Dubai.
